WORK EXPERIENCE

Freelance JEWELLERY DESIGNER- WAX CARVER - WORKSHOP CORNWALL, UK JUNE 2022 - PRESENT

After a significant hiatus from jewellery making due to personal reasons, I return to the vibrant world of jewellery design and the relaunch of my brand, Tg-Jewellery By Tamara Gervasio, in Cornwall. Conduct One to One classes on wax carving and workshops, sharing expertise with enthusiasts. Collaborations with iconic figures such as Kylie Jenner and Billy Idol.

Worked with jeweller designer in Hatton Garden, directly managing one-off commissions and selling my own collections. Working for private commission lost wax carving for the designer Laurent Rivaud of Vivienne Westwood and Avrina Eggleston of Paul Smith fashion icon.

M!A GALLERY and Workshop Manageress and director. Led the design and wax carving initiatives for House Collections and bespoke pieces, contributing to the establishment of a distinguished jewellery brand. Successfully orchestrated the opening of M!A Gallery, showcasing curated collections with invitations and press coverage in local jewellery magazines. Actively liaised with customers, suppliers, and professional services to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction. Managed the overall functioning of the workshop, overseeing administrative tasks, inventory, and stock control. Demonstrated a keen eye for trends and innovation by traveling to trade fairs, selecting and purchasing jewellery collections from both local and international designers to enhance the M!A Gallery offering.

Freelance Jewellery Designer - Wax Carver - Repairs | Rome, Italy 1994 - 1998

Focused on jewellery creation and wax carving, I develop original designs and hand-painted sketches for private clients and jewellery workshops. I manage bespoke commissions from concept to completion, as well as repairs and pearl restringing.

I also collaborate with jewellery workshops to develop their collections through lost wax carving, translating design concepts into sculptural prototypes. In Rome, I worked with the shop “Enea,” creating a sterling silver jewellery collection set with semi-precious gemstones.
