A textured silver serpent winds around a smooth Cornish serpentine stone, bringing together the ancient symbolism of the snake and the wild landscape of Cornwall’s Lizard Peninsula.

I hand-carve the original design in wax, then cast it in 925 sterling silver using the traditional lost-wax process. Oxidised recesses and polished highlights bring out the serpent’s detailed scales, contrasting with the earthy tones of the round cabochon.

Individually finished by hand in my Cornwall studio, this statement ring draws on themes of transformation and renewal. Wear it alone to keep the sculptural design centre stage.
