Celtic Dog Curb Chain Bracelet in Sterling Silver 10mm

Handcrafted in solid Sterling Silver 925 and centred around a sculptural clasp inspired by ancient Celtic symbolism. Combining a substantial curb chain with a hand-carved lost wax focal detail, this piece balances strength, craftsmanship, and narrative design.

The bracelet features a robust 10 mm curb chain, creating a strong architectural rhythm around the wrist. Its substantial weight of approximately 56.5 g gives the piece a reassuring presence, while maintaining comfort for everyday wear.

At its centre is a custom T-bar clasp, individually hand-carved in wax before being cast in sterling silver. Depicting a stylised Celtic Dog motif, the clasp symbolises loyalty, protection, courage, and enduring strength. More than a fastening, it serves as the defining feature of the bracelet, transforming a functional element into a sculptural statement.

Finished with a combination of polished and oxidised surfaces, the bracelet reveals depth and contrast throughout the design. The darker recessed tones emphasise the detailing of the clasp and chain, while polished highlights bring clarity and movement to the piece.

Concept

This bracelet explores the relationship between symbolism and structure.
