The intrigue of an ancient artefact, reimagined in solid sterling silver. This miniature ewer pendant brings the ornate beauty of historical vessels into a sculptural piece of contemporary jewellery.

I carved the original design by hand in wax, shaping its curved handle, elongated pouring spout and richly decorated body. The traditional lost-wax casting process preserves the intricate detail and organic character of that original sculpture.

Dark oxidised recesses contrast with polished silver highlights, revealing the texture and giving the pendant the character of an archaeological treasure. Wear it as a distinctive focal point, or choose it as a thoughtful gift for someone drawn to ancient history and unusual jewellery.

Created for TRESOR 2026 Contemporary Jewellery Fair, Myths & Legends, curated by ACJ Cornwall, this design explores my fascination with ancient vessels, ritual objects and historical craftsmanship.

Every made-to-order piece is individually hand-carved by Tamara Gervasio in her Cornwall studio using the traditional lost wax carving technique. Please allow approximately 2–3 weeks for production before dispatch.
