Lapis Lazuli & Sterling Silver Starfish Necklace – Last One Available – This Version Will Not Be Repeated
A handcrafted necklace combining deep celestial blue lapis lazuli with sterling silver 925 starfish elements, individually assembled in my Cornwall studio using traditional jewellery techniques.
The design is hand-knotted on silk thread, allowing the 8 mm lapis beads to move with fluidity while maintaining protection and structure. Sterling silver starfish elements are placed between the beads, introducing a subtle marine rhythm and sculptural contrast against the intensity of the stone.
Lapis lazuli, long valued since antiquity for its ultramarine depth and associations with clarity and protection, brings a grounded, natural variation to the piece, with each bead contributing to its unique visual character.
The result is a balanced composition of texture, colour, and form — where stone and silver interact through movement and restraint.
