Sea Slug Bangle – Handmade Sterling Silver 925 with Freshwater Pearl

A sculptural sterling silver bangle hand-carved in wax and cast using the traditional lost wax technique, inspired by marine movement, organic forms, and the natural textures found beneath the surface of the sea.

The design combines flowing asymmetry with tactile silver texture, finished by hand in my Cornwall studio. A single 4.5 mm freshwater pearl is set into the form like a natural inclusion, creating a soft point of light against the structured metal.

The contrast of polished and oxidised surfaces enhances the depth of the carving, allowing the piece to shift with movement and reveal new details over time. Designed to feel substantial yet comfortable, this is a wearable sculpture made to become part of the wearer.
