Sea Slug Ring – Handmade Sterling Silver 925 with Freshwater Pearl
A sterling silver ring hand carved in wax and cast using the traditional lost wax technique. Part of a study in marine-inspired form, the Sea Slug Pearl Ring explores softness, asymmetry, and natural surface movement translated into a compact wearable object.
At its centre sits a luminous freshwater pearl cabochon, chosen for its soft glow and organic character. The surrounding silver is finished with a combination of polished and oxidised surfaces, creating depth and contrast that shifts as the ring moves through light. The result is a piece that feels tactile, considered, and quietly expressive.
Designed to sit comfortably on the hand, it carries a balance of softness and structure — a small form with a distinct presence that becomes more personal with wear.

Maker’s Note
"I wanted this piece to feel like something found rather than designed — shaped by water, softened by time, and held in silver. The pearl became the quiet centre of that idea."
