Ruby Cabochon Ring in 18ct Yellow Gold – One of a Kind

A one-of-a-kind ring handcrafted in 18ct yellow gold in Tamara Gervasio’s Italian studio, using the traditional lost wax technique. Designed around a natural oval ruby cabochon, the ring combines architectural form with deep, organic colour.

The ruby (8 × 6 mm) is richly saturated, shifting between crimson and burgundy with a soft internal glow. Set within a bold gold structure, the stone becomes the focal point of a design built for presence, weight, and clarity of form.

The band is hand-carved in wax, allowing the proportions to develop organically until the final balance felt resolved. Substantial in form yet refined in execution, the ring carries a grounded, sculptural quality on the hand.

A contemporary relic defined by material intensity and craftsmanship.
