Molten Sapphire Pebble Ring — Recycled Sterling Silver, Hand-Cast
A raw, sculptural ring that captures the moment metal meets fire. This piece is entirely handcrafted using the lost wax technique and cast in recycled sterling silver 925, forming a bold, angular band with an organic, tactile finish.
The central “pebble” element is created by melting recycled silver directly, allowing it to form naturally around a 3.5mm square sapphire. The gemstone is set while the silver is molten, embedding it into the form in a way that feels spontaneous and alive. One edge of the sapphire appears to emerge from the surface—an intentional design detail that enhances the sense of movement and imperfection, while the stone remains securely set.
The sapphire itself is an ethical, recycled gemstone, retaining natural inclusions that add depth and individuality to the piece. Hallmarked with an Italian 925 stamp and finished with the TG maker’s mark, this ring is a true one-off expression of material, process, and form.
