A powerful symbol, sculpted in silver. This Medusa pendant brings the strength and mystery of Greek mythology to a distinctive piece of contemporary jewellery.

I carved the original design entirely by hand in wax, shaping Medusa’s expressive face and intertwined serpents into a richly detailed, three-dimensional sculpture. Cast in solid 925 sterling silver using the traditional lost-wax technique, it retains the character of my original carving. No CAD or 3D printing is used in the original design process.

Oxidised recesses contrast with polished silver highlights, revealing the serpent details and giving the pendant its dramatic depth. Wear it as a statement of individuality, or choose it for its associations with strength, transformation and feminine power.

Originally created for TRESOR 2026 Contemporary Jewellery Fair, Myths & Legends, curated by ACJ Cornwall at Cornwall Museum and Art Gallery.
