1-to-1 Clean-Up, Casting & Final Polish Experience

A private, one-to-one jewellery finishing session held in my Cornwall studio, dedicated to the final transformation of cast jewellery into a completed, wearable piece.

Guided personally by jewellery designer Tamara Gervasio, this experience is designed for those who have already completed a wax carving and casting and wish to take part in the final stages of the making process.

This is a focused, hands-on workshop where you will refine, clean, and polish cast metal using professional jewellery-making techniques.

This session is dedicated to finishing and polishing and is intended for cast jewellery pieces only.

What You Will Do

You will work directly with your cast jewellery piece, learning how raw metal is refined into its final finished form.

Through guided making, you will clean, file, and polish your piece while understanding how surface refinement transforms texture, detail, and overall appearance.

Your jewellery moves from cast form to finished piece — revealing its final character and quality.

3-Hour Private Session

A focused workshop introducing the essential finishing and polishing techniques used in professional jewellery making.

The 3-hour session is typically suitable for finishing one to two jewellery pieces, depending on size and complexity. Simpler designs may allow time for additional pieces to be completed within the session.

Any additional time beyond the 3 hours will be charged on the day if extended by mutual agreement.

Studio Requirements

This session involves the use of professional jewellery tools and polishing equipment in a working studio environment.

For your comfort and safety, please:

• wear comfortable clothing suitable for studio work
• tie back long hair
• avoid loose sleeves or accessories that may interfere with tools
• wear closed-toe footwear

Full guidance will be provided throughout the session.
