Designed as a deliberately asymmetric composition, each earring features a finely detailed cherub suspended beneath a step-cut gemstone. One earring carries a soft purple amethyst, the other a cool blue aquamarine, creating a balanced contrast of colour, tone, and movement. The cherubs are individually sculpted by hand, capturing a sense of classical reference and quiet expressiveness within a contemporary form.

“I have always been drawn to the cherub figure — there is something timeless about it, something that has captivated artists for centuries. For these earrings I wanted to pair the cherub with stones that felt almost opposite — the soft purple of amethyst and the cool blue of aquamarine. One on each ear. The asymmetry felt right. It felt alive.”
