Mediterranean Coral Dangle Earrings in 18ct Recycled Yellow Gold

A deep, natural red defines Mediterranean coral — a material shaped by sea, time, and geology in a way that cannot be replicated. Working with it in her Italian studio, surrounded by the coastline from which it originates, Tamara Gervasio has translated that material presence into a pair of earrings that feel directly connected to place, light, and tradition.

Handcrafted in 18ct recycled yellow gold, the design features natural Mediterranean coral beads selected for their intensity of colour and even, luminous surface. The red is immediate and unmistakable — a tone long associated with classical jewellery traditions, where coral was worn as both adornment and protective material.

The composition is intentionally minimal, allowing the coral to carry the visual weight of the piece. Set on fine 18ct gold fittings with a butterfly closure, the earrings sit securely and comfortably on the ear. At 4 cm in length, they offer presence without excess, while remaining light at just 1.7 g for effortless wear throughout the day.

The gold is stamped 750, indicating Italian hallmarked 18ct gold, and formed entirely from recycled material, maintaining continuity with a responsible approach to sourcing and production.
